Chef de Cuisine, Kimbler Harrold

A certified culinarian of the American Culinary Federation (ACF), Chef Kimbler Harrold has held both Sous Chef and Pastry Chef positions for the Westin, Double Tree, Magnolia and Sheraton, before becoming the Chef de Cuisine for the Liberty Tavern.

Kimbler also enjoys giving back.  He participates in local fund raising for groups such as Share Our Strength, Omaha Restaurant Association and Easter Seals.  Chef Kimbler also mentors high school culinary teams for Prostart, boasting 2 state championships.  Kimbler states, “Since the culinary industry has grown so much in last 5-10 years, more young people are growing a passion for the culinary industry.  I enjoy being a part of that evolution.  I truly enjoy bringing the students into the professional kitchen”

An Omaha native, Kimbler brings strong ties to the community.  He and his family are strong members of the Church as well as members of the Growing and Building Together (GBT) Academy of the Arts.  A graduate of the Institute for Culinary Arts here in Omaha, Kimbler has assisted in the education of  future culinarians at the Institute.

The Liberty Tavern is located in the Hilton Omaha Hotel. We are located on 10th & Cass St. directly across from the CenturyLink Center Omaha.
